GUEST SATISFACTION

We are committed to giving you the best salon experience and results for your hair service. Building a relationship with our clients is our top priority and we welcome the opportunity to adjust any part of your service to your satisfaction. Kindly give us notice on the same day of service or within 2hrs in order for your stylist to remedy any adjustments needed. We want you to feel safe communicating your needs to us and we will work tirelessly to ensure your satisfaction.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We kindly ask for a 48 hour notice should you need to cancel your reservation. Anything less than that makes it difficult to fill our stylists‘ valuable time. In an effort to respect the time of our salon guests and stylists, we reserve the right to evaluate same day cancellations and apply a $35 re-booking fee.

NO SHOWS

We understand life gets hectic and things fall off your radar, which is why we ask for your email address and mobile number to remind you of your upcoming salon reservation 4 days prior through our automatic system. In an effort to respect our stylist time and livelihood, we require no show fee of $35 to be paid in full prior to scheduling and/or honoring future reservations.

LATE ARRIVALS

Our goal at Abliss Studios is to offer an ablissful experience for our guest as well consistency/ quality of service. Late arrivals tend to create stress and risk a compromised experience for both stylists and other guests. To ensure promptness and quality for all reservations throughout the day, we may elect to reschedule/cancel guests running 15+ minutes late with a $35 inconvenient fee. We encourage you to plan your commute to the salon accordingly.

 

CHILDREN POLICY

For safety reasons and insurance purposes, children not receiving services are not allowed in the salon. We do not have a child-proof salon and due to sharp tools, hot tools, chemicals and heavy costly equipment, the salon is not a safe space for children to be left unattended. We also do not want to compromise the experience of our guests,We appreciate you understanding.

ACCEPTED FORMS OF PAYMENT

We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, AmEx and Discover cards with a $2 credit card processing fee. We also allow stylist gratuities on your card and of course cash gratuities are always appreciated.

 

 

COVID POLICY 

We know our guests expect the highest standards at Abliss Studios and we are committed to providing that even during this challenging time. We believe the safest way to handle the salon situation is to treat everyone, including ourselves, as if we could be infected. Our plan is to go beyond what is recommended The following list will outline those protocols as well as inform you of what to expect upon returning to the salon.

BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

Your stylist may reach out to you in advance of your appointment to touch base with more specific information relevant to you and your upcoming service. 

  • All clients, employees, and stylists will be required to wear a mask while at the salon. Your stylist may also be wearing eye protection for further safety precautions. 

  • Please arrive on-time for your appointment and allow an additional 5-10 minutes for check-in. 

  • Please come to your appointment alone (no extra guests or children) for the time being. No more than 10 people will be allowed in the salon at any one time

  • All staff have updated certification on Sanitation protocols via Barbacide ™ and OSHA.gov

WHEN YOU ARRIVE TO THE SALON

Initially we will have a reception staff member outside the salon to check you in. However, your stylist may ask you to contact him/her directly rather than approaching the reception staff at the front door of the salon. 

  • You will be asked by a salon staff member or your stylist to 1) have your temperature taken using a no-touch digital thermometer and  2) sign a liability waiver prior to your service. 

  • Upon arriving to the salon, we will check you in and ask that you wait in your car until your stylist is ready to see you. 

  • Our reception area and beverage bar are currently closed to minimize traffic within the salon. 

  • We will continue to practice social distancing of 6 feet in the salon (except between you and your stylist during your service).

·      We have set up an entry station for sanitation & communication upon arrival

DURING YOUR APPOINTMENT

  • All stylists, employees, and guests will be required to wear a mask while in the salon and to wash/sanitize hands before your appointment.

  • Stylists and employees are following strict sanitation and disinfecting procedures all day long. These procedures include but are not limited to frequent hand washing, disinfecting chairs, styling stations, and tools, disinfecting door handles and knobs, restrooms, and all high touch areas. Capes and smocks are one-time use only, per client. 

  • Your stylist may ask you to keep your personal items to a minimum and may ask you to disinfect your phone (or any other items sitting out) with a wipe.

  • Hugging and handshaking and anything other than the required contact to provide your service should be avoided at this time.

  • Face/Eye protection will be worn by stylists during shampooing

  • All staff have updated certification on Sanitation protocols via Barbacide ™ and OSHA.go  

  • Cancellation/no-show policy- We will not be penalizing for any last-minute cancellations due to being sick. However, please provide us with information as soon as possible so we can adjust our schedules accordingly. We are trying our best to get every client back in as soon as possible.  

 

Rest Assured, we hope to get back to a new normal and offering many of the added value services and extras you have come to enjoy. These protocols will continue to be refined and adjusted as needed and will keep you informed every step of the way.
